Seminar is a small discussion-based course that helps students prepare for high school, college, and beyond. A main focus in the beginning is on the transition from high school to college. We then continue on to different phases of college and career exploration. Throughout the seminars we also take time to work on communication and personal development. Seminar is designed to enhance the success of our Early College of Macomb students as they make their transition from high school to college and career as smooth and exciting as possible. Seminar will also help student form a sense of community. This will be a course where students can come together and learn about their peers from the ECM program. Only ECM students will participate in these seminars which help the students network with each other and build lifelong friendships and connections. Students will use myself and their peers to continue their motivation and enthusiasm to pursue their goals!
